Tom and Gill Nutt, Dave and Christine Watson, Peter and Pauline Weegram and Charlie McEwan made a 2 day visit to our cousin twin town at the invitation of Janus Karpinski, International Officer of Opole.
During their visit they met the President of Opole and other officials and were given a tour of the town which included visits to The Zoo and The Historic Park Museum. They also held talks about future exchanges and visits between the towns.
On their way to Krakow another beautiful Polish town where they had a 3 day private holiday they visited Auschwitz with there hosts, a most moving and unforgettable experience.
