Along with Nigel Davison and Dave Watson, I joined our friends from the Mülheim Twinning Association for our weekend stall in the Altstadt Adventsmarkt. This was the eleventh time we had sold our Darlington wares here since 2010, and as usual our jam, chutney, ginger wine, Yorkshire tea, mince pies and christmas puddings were quickly snapped up by the many who were pleased to see us there again. Although it rained on the Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday weather was good for the time of year. Our hosts were again extremely generous, giving us meals at different restaurants on the 3 evenings, along with plenty of the local schnapps and beers.
Many thanks to our friends in Mülheim for their wonderful hospitality and we look forward to seeing you all again in the near future.
