Siemens Apprentices Visit Darlington

On 14th June 25 second year apprentices from Siemens AG Energy Sector in Mülheim an der Ruhr arrived in Darlington.

During their 3 week stay they will work in local companies and visit York, Newcastle, Durham, Whitby, West Burton and Edinburgh.

This is Siemens 20th Leonardo European funded mobility project. S W Durham Training Ltd in Newton Aycliffe are responsible for coordinating their stay.

The above photo shows the group outside the Town Hall with the Mayor and Mayoress. After the official welcome Tom Nutt provided a very informative town tour.
