After spending 3 days in Ripon 34 members of the Muelheim Twinning Association will arrive on the evening of 11th September for a 4 day stay at the Kings Mercure Hotel. Darlington Twinning Association have prepared the following Itinery for our friends:
Friday 12th Sept. !000 Meet the Mayor in Town Hall, 1130 Guided tours of Hippodrome Theatre and Library, Tour of town centre, 1930 Evening at Darlington Quoits Club, the oldest in the world founded in 1846. Saterday 13th Sept. 1100 Visit Hopetown Railway Museum with guided tour and refreshments. 1900 Dinner in Studio Suite of Dolphin Centre at the invitation of Darlington Town Twinning & International Association. Sunday 14th Sept. Leave for Muelheim by Hull/Rotterdam ferry.
